What’s a semi-permanent pigment and why do I want it in my Conditioner?
Our temporary pigments are semi-permanent hair colors. Our pigmented Masque provides an instant color transformation or enhancement, while our pigmented Conditioner helps to maintain your hair color over time. Explore a Fantasy shade, enhance your current hair color with a Classic pigment, or offset unwanted warm tones with one of our three Neutralizers.
How often should I use my pigmented Conditioner?
Our pigmented Conditioners are made to maintain your color, enhance your current shade, or neutralize unwanted tones. To use your pigmented Conditioner, wear the provided gloves to avoid any staining and apply it from roots to ends. Then let the product set for 3-4 minutes before rinsing.
How are your semi-permanent pigments different from permanent hair dye?
Temporary pigments wash out of your hair. Permanent hair dye will permanently dye your hair and will not wash out.

What’s a temporary pigment, and why would I want that in my Masque?
Semi-permanent pigments are temporary hair colors that we can add to your Masque that will wash out over time. Adding a temporary pigment to your Masque can help you enhance your current hair color with a Classic shade, try a Fantasy shade, or choose a Neutralizer to offset unwanted warm tones.
How often should I use my Masque?
Generally speaking, your Conditioner should give you the moisture you need to stick to a weekly masquing routine, but it’s always best to watch how your hair is responding and adjust from there. For example, if you have fine hair, applying a mask more than once a week may weigh hair down.
Are your Masques safe for my color?
Absolutely. All of our Masques are safe for color-treated hair. If your hair is overprocessed, we recommend including color protection as one of your main goals in our Quiz. This will ensure your formula is extra-focused on color protection.
